2025-26 School Year Tuition & Fees
September 2, 2025 – May 22, 2026
Thank you for considering MDOW for your child. At MDOW, we believe that young children learn best through creative exploration, discovery, and play. Our approach is built on the understanding that children are naturally curious and eager to learn when they are given the opportunity to engage with the world around them in a safe, nurturing environment. We seek to foster a life-long love of learning.
MDOW’s 2025-26 School Year Session runs from September 2, 2025 – May 22, 2026
MDOW operates two sessions each day:
- Morning Session: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Afternoon Session: 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Children attending all day will have lunch from 12:00 – 12:30. Lunch registration is not required if your child is registered for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
Registration Requirements:
- A minimum of two sessions per week is required
- These sessions must be on different days of the week.
Example: Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon.
Determining Your Monthly Tuition Payment:
Tuition is based on the number of sessions your child is registered to attend weekly. To calculate your monthly payment:
- Count the number of sessions your child is registered to attend on a weekly basis. One session is defined as : one morning session (9:00 am – 12:00 pm), or one afternoon session (12:30 pm – 3:30 pm).
Examples:
If your child attends Monday and Wednesday mornings, that counts as 2 sessions per week.
If your child attends full days (9:00 am – 3:30 pm), it is equivalent to 2 sessions per day. - Refer to the payment schedules below to determine the corresponding monthly payment.
Pre-K Program Enrollment
Children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2025 are eligible to enroll in our Pre-K program. You may choose one of the following options:
- Pre-K Mondays & Wednesdays: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, OR
- Pre-K Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
If you wish to add more days to your child’s schedule, please select additional sessions in the 3- to 5-year-old section on the registration form after choosing your Pre-K class preference. Please note that children will be placed with similar-aged peers.
Sibling Discount
At MDOW, we value the trust families place in us when enrolling multiple children. To show our appreciation, we offer the following sibling discount during the school year (September through May):
Families with multiple children enrolled during the school year are eligible for a 5% discount applied to the lowest tuition rate among the siblings. This discount is limited to one child per family.
Billing and Payment
September tuition is due July 1 and is non-refundable.
Tuition for October through May is billed monthly through brightwheel at the start of the month preceding the tuition period, and will be due on the 10th of that month–i.e., October tuition is due September 10th, November’s tuition will be due October 10th. Payments can be made via ACH debit from a checking account or credit card through brightwheel, with a 3% fee applied to credit card payments.
If your child is absent or school is closed due to weather, tuition is still paid in full.

Withdrawal: A 30-day written notice is required prior to withdrawing or making any changes to your selected program. Tuition already paid is non-refundable. Students who withdraw temporarily without paying tuition will not be guaranteed a spot upon their return.
Additional Fees
Application fee: Through brightwheel, a $25 non-refundable fee will be charged each student for their combined 2025 Summer/2025-25 School Year application upon acceptance by MDOW. No class placement will be attempted until this fee is paid.
Registration fee: This $50 fee is due when your classroom assignment is confirmed. The registration fee is non-refundable.
Schedule Change Fee: If you wish to adjust your child’s schedule after they have been assigned to a classroom (subject to availability), a $25 fee will be applied.
Late Payment Fee: A 10% late fee will be added to your account balance if your tuition payment is not received by the 15th of the month. Your child will not be permitted to attend beyond the end of the month unless your account balance is current.
Materials & Supply Fee (September): $150 per family. This fee covers snack, art supplies and cleaning materials for the summer.
Child Late Pick-Up Fees:
- If you are late picking up your child from the morning session (ends at 12:00 pm), a $5 lunch fee will be charged.
- If you are late picking up your child from the afternoon session (ends at 3:30), your child will be taken to the aftercare classroom, and you will be charged the daily aftercare fee of $18.
- If you are late picking up your child from MDOW Discovery (ends at 5:30), a fee of $1 per minute will be charged.
Extra Sessions – Upon request, if space permits. Please coordinate with teacher or office for scheduling availability:
Heart/Bear/Ocean/Jungle Rooms – $28/session
Smiley Room – $33/session
Before-school care: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Drop-in Rate: $12/session, billed after end of month, OR
Monthly Rate: $180/month, billed one month in advance with student’s regular tuition payment.
MDOW Discovery After-School Care: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Drop-in rate: $18/session, billed after end of month, OR
Monthly rate: $270/month, billed one month in advance with student’s regular tuition payment.
